XstereO Player
I just downloaded free XstereO and bought a LG D2342P monitor to view 3d stereo images from my MacBook Pro. This monitor uses horizontal interlace with passive glasses to view 3d. I needed some way to play my 3d stereo image pairs without using Bootcamp or Windows. XstereO Player does exactly what I need most--that is to display 3d side-by-side images interlaced so they can be shown without parallel or cross-eye viewing. It works perfectly, although version 1.0 only can view a single image (one L-R side-by-side pair) at a time. It can open a variety of image formats and display them in 3d using anaglyphs or interlacing. For this monitor to display full-color stereo, it interlaces one image into even horizontal lines superimposed with the other image in the odd horizontal lines. It has a check box to switch between Left/even-Right/odd or Right/even-Left/odd horizontal lines. Future versions could include new features, such as the ability to do a slide show or work with separate left and right images, for example. I give it four stars because it works well. I havent found any other similar application for Mac. Being a free download from Apple is also important. Thank you Yuri golubinsky and Apple.
